Frequently asked questions

What is a postbiotic?

Postbiotics are therapeutic ingredients derived from non-living microorganisms, including cell wall fragments, metabolites, and other compounds that remain after the microorganism has been inactivated. The therapeutic value of a postbiotic lies in substances produced by the microorganism during their life cycle, which provide benefits after the microorganisms themselves are no longer alive.3 For example, heat-treated postbiotic, Lactobacillus acidophilus (L-92™) can have positive effects on the immune system by interacting with gut microbiota, shown to reduce skin sensitivity in individuals prone to skin allergies.4

How long before I will see results with eczema?

Research shows clear benefits of Lactobacillus acidophilus (LP-92™) from 8 weeks, however customers may notice potential benefits sooner. Customers may expect to notice 20%- 25% less eczema symptoms, with less skin redness and swelling after 8 weeks.1,2

What is NutroxSun & how does it work?

NutroxSun™ is a potent mix of antioxidant ingredients from grapefruit and rosemary, which help to protect skin from environmental damage.5,6 Taking 100 mg of NutroxSun™ each day has been shown to improve your skin's elasticity and reduce skin redness and inflammation within 2 weeks.7

Can I use this product if I am using topical creams for mild dermatitis or eczema?

Yes, you can. UltraFlora Sensitive Skin supports the immune system and reduces skin inflammation from within, while your topical creams and lotions can be applied externally.

How long will it take to effect?

Studies have found that the ingredients in UltraFlora Sensitive Skin can start to work in supporting skin health in as little as two weeks, however the full benefits may take up to eight weeks to be seen.

Is this product suitable for children?

This product is not recommended for children. Instead, children can use UltraFlora Kids Care Probiotic which may assist in reducing the symptoms of mild eczema and dermatitis.
