Metagenics MetaRelax Powder

Frequently asked questions

How does MetaRelax™ help during stress?

When we're under stress, our bodies need additional nutrients—especially magnesium and B vitamins—to support the neuroendocrine system, which plays a key role in maintaining both mental and physical wellbeing¹. MetaRelax™ delivers a targeted blend of brain-supportive nutrients designed to promote a healthy stress response by nourishing the nervous system. These nutrients also help enhance the production of neurotransmitters—chemical messengers that regulate how the brain and body respond to stress.¹⁻⁶

What makes MetaRelax™ different to other magnesium-based products?

MetaRelax is a comprehensive formula, designed with synergistic ingredients to support the nervous system. It is formulated with a form of magnesium with enhanced absorption as well as nutrients taurine, potassium citrate, vitamin B6 and vitamin C. It comes in two delicious tasting varieties.

When should I take MetaRelax™?

MetaRelax™ is perfect for daily use, to be taken once or twice daily, preferably morning and afternoon, with meals.

Is MetaRelax™ safe to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

MetaRelax™ contains nutrients commonly found in food, with some in higher amounts than what is found in a typical daily intake. For example, MetaRelax™ contains taurine found in seafood, however there is insufficient reliable information when taurine supplements during pregnancy and lactation. We suggest using Metagenics Pregnancy Care Advanced tablets as an alternative to MetaRelax™ .

Is MetaRelax™ suitable for vegans and vegetarians?

Yes, there are no animal products in MetaRelax™

I have noticed that when I take products containing magnesium, I experience soft stools or diarrhea. Should I stop taking it?

At Metagenics, we use a specific form of high-quality magnesium known as magnesium bisglycinate. This form of magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine, which improves its bioavailability and absorption. It is also gentler on the stomach and less likely to cause gastrointestinal upsets. However, some people may still experience loose stools or diarrhea when taking high doses of magnesium. If this happens, try reducing your dose by half, e.g. Instead of taking two serves per day, cut down to one serve. You can then gradually increase it over a week or two to find the optimal dose for you.
