What is Wellness Rewards?
Wellness Rewards is Metagenics’ loyalty program designed to reward customers for investing in their health. As an online customer, you can earn points on purchases and engagement activities, then redeem them for discounts on your next online purchase.
Members can also progress through membership tiers based on their eligible spending over a rolling 12-month period. Higher tiers unlock additional benefits and may increase the rate at which you earn points.
How do membership tiers work?
Your Wellness Rewards membership tier is based on how much you spend on eligible purchases over a rolling 12-month period.
When you reach a tier spend threshold, you will automatically move into that tier and unlock the benefits associated with it.
You can continue to progress through higher tiers if you reach additional spend thresholds within the same 12-month period.
Once you reach a tier, you will retain that status for 12 months from the date the spend threshold for that tier is achieved.
At the end of that 12-month period, your tier will be reassessed based on your eligible spending during the previous 12 months. If the applicable spend threshold has not been met, your tier will adjust to the tier corresponding with your eligible spend.
What purchases count towards tier qualification?
Eligible purchase made at metagenics.com.au count towards tier qualification.
Eligible purchases exclude Patient Only Products, shipping charges, and any other purchases excluded by Metagenics from time to time.
Tier qualification is based on the total value of eligible purchases made during the previous 12 months.
How do I earn and redeem points?
You earn points on eligible purchases made at metagenics.com.au.
Additional points may be available for certain activities such as leaving reviews, subscribing to products, and engaging with us.
Points may be earned at different rates depending on your membership tier and any applicable points multipliers.
Once you reach a points threshold, you can convert them into rewards:
- 200 points = $10 off
- 400 points = $20 off
Things to know:
- Only one reward can be redeemed per order.
- Points are calculated based on the purchase price paid for eligible products after discounts have been applied. Points are not earned on shipping charges, Patient Only Products or other excluded purchases.
- Rewards apply to eligible purchases and may not be applied to excluded products or charges such as shipping.
How do I check my points and redeem rewards?
You can check your points balance by logging into the Wellness Rewards page. At checkout, any eligible rewards will automatically appear for you to redeem. Points will also be shown at the bottom of emails from us, so make sure you’re opted in to our email communications.
Do I need to be logged in to use my rewards?
Some Wellness Rewards benefits are only available when you are logged into your Metagenics account.
This includes certain tier benefits such as free shipping and consultation-related promotional offers with participating practitioners, as well as viewing and redeeming your available points rewards.
Logging in ensures that your membership status and available rewards can be correctly applied to your order.
If you have opted out of receiving marketing communications from Metagenics, you will need to login to your Metagenics account to view your points balance and access available rewards, as these updates may otherwise be communicated via email.
Can points be transferred?
No, points and accounts are non-transferable and cannot be shared between accounts.
Do points expire?
Yes, points expire 12 months after being earned if they are not redeemed.
Points expiry is separate from membership tier qualification or maintenance.
When will my tier upgrade take effect?
If your eligible spending reaches the threshold for a higher membership tier, your tier will automatically update once the qualifying purchase is processed.
In most cases, tier upgrades occur shortly after the purchase is completed, however processing times my vary.
Your updated tier status and any associated benefits will then be visible in your Wellness Rewards account.
Can my tier go down?
Yes. If you don’t meet the required spend threshold required to maintain your tier, your membership tier will adjust based on your eligible spending during the previous 12 months.
Do I need to be logged in to access Wellness Rewards Platinum Tier Free Shipping?
Platinum tier members are eligible for complimentary standard shipping on all orders placed at metagenics.com.au. You must be logged in at time of checkout to access free shipping.
If you are logged in and eligible for free shipping, the benefit will be automatically applied at checkout.
Can points be used with discounts or promotions?
Yes, in many cases points can be redeemed together with other discounts or promotions. However, Metagenics may limit or restrict the use of points in combination with certain promotions or offers from time to time.
What happens if I return a purchase?
If a purchase that earned points is returned, cancelled or refunded, the points associated with that purchase may be deducted from your points balance. If the purchase contributed to your tier qualification, your membership tier may also be adjusted.
What if I accidentally redeem a reward but don’t use it?
Unfortunately, once a reward is redeemed, it generates a discount code that cannot be reversed, reactivated or refunded.
Can I opt out of marketing while keeping my loyalty membership?
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time without affecting your Wellness Rewards membership.
To access your rewards, track your points balance, and redeem available benefits, you will need to log into your Metagenics account.
To unsubscribe, use the opt-out link at the bottom of any marketing email.
