Description

MagActive™ Muscle is neutral flavoured for versatile blending and is an easy way to provide magnesium supplementation. It contains Magnesium bisglycinate, an exclusive form of magnesium with enhanced bioavailability.

MagActive™ Muscle supports muscle relaxation and reduces muscle cramps, when dietary magnesium intake is inadequate. The ingredients in MagActive™ Muscle, which include activated vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, help to support energy levels, maintain a healthy stress response and maintain healthy muscle and nerve function.

Directions

Adults 19 years and over: Add 1 level scoop (7g) in 200mL of water or juice twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Warnings

Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practitioner as soon as possible. [Contains vitamin B6].

This medicine contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

Contains 52mg potassium per 7g dose.

This product is sold by weight not volume. Some settling may occur

Magnesium bisglycinate is an easily absorbed form of magnesium (compared to other forms), so your body can utilise it more rapidly and effectively.

What does 'neutral' flavour mean?

We created a neutral flavour for versatility, meaning the magnesium powder can be added into other flavoured blends, such as protein powder or even your morning green smoothie or juice!

I have noticed that when I take products containing magnesium, I experience soft stools or diarrhea. Should I stop taking it?

At Metagenics, we use a specific form of high-quality magnesium known as magnesium bisglycinate. This form of magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine, which improves its bioavailability and absorption. It is also gentler on the stomach and less likely to cause gastrointestinal upsets. However, some people may still experience loose stools or diarrhea when taking high doses of magnesium. If this happens, try reducing your dose by half, e.g. Instead of taking two serves per day, cut down to one serve. You can then gradually increase it over a week or two to find the optimal dose for you.
