Protein Pavlova – With Collagen Infused Whipped Cream

This isn’t your average pavlova. It’s a modern twist on a classic. Imagine a cloud-like dessert that’s not only a showstopper on your Christmas table but also secretly packed with collagen goodness. This isn’t just a sweet treat; it’s a smart way to indulge without ditching your health goals. Perfect for impressing your guests and earning ‘best bring-along’ bragging rights at the holiday bash! But we can’t lie… these are so tasty, you might not want to share.

Total Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:

 

Cream:

  • - 300g thickened cream
  • - 2 Tbsp icing sugar 
  • - BioPure Collagen Protein (see label for recommended dose)
  • - Optional: 1-2 tsp Vanilla extract (adjust to taste)


Base:

  • - Mini meringues (These can be store bought if you’re low on time, or you can find a recipe here)


Toppings:

  • - Seasonal fruit (Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and kiwifruit are great options)
  • - Optional: Mint leaves & icing sugar

Method:

  1. 1. Add the thickened cream and icing sugar in a bowl (You can add vanilla extract for a sweeter cream). Use an electric mixer to whisk the cream until firm peaks form. 
  2. 2. Fold in the recommended dose of BioPure Collagen Protein (found on the back of pack) using a spoon and mix until combined.
  3. 3. Spoon cream onto the top of the mini meringues. 
  4. 4. Add your chosen seasonal fruit on top of the cream and garnish with preferred additional toppings.
