Deirdre Parkinson has been a Naturopath for 25 years on the Gold Coast, Australia. She has done both a Bachelor in Nursing and a Bachelor of Psychology and has worked in hospitals for 14 years before moving on to study Naturopathy in the year 2000. Since completing her naturopathy studies in 2004, she has worked alongside Integrated Doctors to blend both worlds of medicine, When asked what area of health she specialises in, she prefers to state that she aims for the holistic approach. “Natural therapy assesses the whole body, seeking to find the causes of the presenting symptoms, rather than provide temporary relief or “band aid treatment”.
