The Metagenics Difference - Trusted Quality, Locally Made

Quality

At Metagenics, quality is at the heart of everything we do. We’ve been working hard to bring more of our manufacturing in-house, where we can improve product consistency, supply reliability, and deliver innovation—without compromising on efficacy to ensure you and your patients receive only the best.

Proudly Made in Brisbane

  • 89% of our products are now manufactured and 95% packed in-house.
  • Our manufacturing facility is TGA compliant & holds an A1 Good Manufacturing Practices certification, meeting the highest standards and supporting over 100 local jobs.

Uncompromising Quality

  • At Metagenics, every formula is developed and tested by our in-house team of expert chemists—ensuring scientific integrity from concept to capsule. This hands-on approach means we control every step of the process, from ingredient selection to stability testing, so you can trust that each product delivers what your patients need, exactly as intended.
  • At Metagenics, we don’t just accept supplier documentation—we independently validate 178 raw materials through rigorous in-house testing. This ensures every ingredient meets our uncompromising standards for purity, potency, and efficacy. It’s this commitment to quality that supports the consistent clinical outcomes you rely on. With over 130 million tablets produced annually, you can trust that every dose you prescribe is backed by science and integrity.
  • We manufacture in smaller batch sizes to maintain the integrity and consistency of every product you prescribe. This approach helps ensure that each supplement delivers its intended therapeutic effect—formulated to perform as expected, without compromise over time. It’s one more way we support reliable, high-quality care for your patients.

Sustainability

Environmental Responsibility

As a B-Corp certified company, which requires independent and legally audited evidence, we acknowledge the planet is one of our key stakeholders. We continually monitor our facilities to check for contaminants, maintaining environmental vigilance, power our facility by 2,000 solar panels and pack every order in Geami paper and eco-friendly packing peanuts, reducing our environmental footprint.

Product Reformulation

Quercetin Protect: Now with an Optimised In-House Formulation

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, Quercetin Protect is transitioning to a new in-house formulation designed to enhance patient experience and maintain the trusted efficacy you rely on.

What’s New?

  • Smaller, Easier-to-Swallow Tablet
Reduced from 1600mg to 1200mg, with a thinner profile (8.12mm → 6.5mm) for improved patient compliance.
  • Updated Appearance
Now a yellow tablet with dark speckles, maintaining the same oval shape and break bar for dosing flexibility.

  • Improved Ingredient Sourcing
We’ve secured more reliable supply chains for key ingredients—without compromising the therapeutic benefits your patients rely on—to reduce the risk of out-of-stocks and ensure consistent availability. As part of this update, Vitamin E has transitioned from d-alpha-tocopherol acetate to d-alpha-tocopherol succinate—a change that maintains its antioxidant efficacy while supporting improved formulation stability.

    What Remains the Same?

    • The Hero Nutrients You Trust
Featuring Quercetin and Vitamin C — clinically relevant, evidence-based ingredients known for their antioxidant and immune-supportive properties.
    • Synergistic Nutritional & Herbal Support
The herbal extracts (Green Tea, Milk Thistle, Grape Seed) are represented differently on the new label, However, the equivalent herb amounts often shown as grams, remain unchanged, providing the same high quality and efficacy contributing to the synergistic effects and benefits complementing the actions of the core nutrients in this combination.

Why It Matters to You and Your Patients

This update reflects our ongoing focus on scientific integrity, therapeutic relevance, and practitioner trust. By bringing formulation in-house, we maintain tighter control over quality, stability, and consistency—so you can continue to prescribe with confidence.
